Nothing happening with the baby yet.
8 days overdue today.
I had an OB appt yesterday, everything looks fine. Did a non-stress test (NST) as well, everything looked good there too.
So far, I go for another NST tomorrow sometime - which works out as we'll be in town for swimming and going to the fair anyways. Then I'll have another appt with the OB and another NST on Monday - depending on how things look then, we'll go from there.
Nothing exciting there at all.
I did just get some new pictures up online - Josh had some pictures of the kids before skating in the ice show, pictures from Isaac's birthday, and the dance recital pictures.

Still no news - 06/09
Unfortunately, we're sitting at 6 days overdue now, and there's still no sign of baby coming. I have another OB appt tomorrow afternoon and should know more about what the following week will bring after that.
On a good note, though, Ken arrived here yesterday afternoon. The kids were so excited to see him (Josh and I are a little bit, too!). It's very nice to know that now, if/when things do happen, we don't need to worry about taking the kids anywhere at all.
He'll be staying through for a while, Patti is flying here on July 6th (I think he said, somewhere close to that anyways) and then we'll have them both with us for a while.
Isaac said last night "Can Grandpa stay for one sleep-over?!" We told him lots and lots of sleepovers - he was happy to hear that.
And that's about it for now. I still haven't gotten the pictures or videos put on yet... I haven't felt much like fighting with my computer to get them on, but maybe after I pick up the boys from nursery school/kindergarten.

2 days past EDD, nothing happening yet.
All I know for now is that I have yet another OB appt on Tuesday - and I hope and pray I don't have to get to it, I hope the baby is here, we're all safe and sound, by then.
The kids are confused about why the baby didn't come on the "due date" - try to explain (and we have since we first told them about the baby coming) that it's just a guess, it doesn't mean for sure that day... I don't think they really got it until now.
No pictures or videos up yet - I haven't felt like fighting with my computer to get them on here the past couple days. I will, though. Just not promising when!
Busy weekend, as usual - swimming lessons (and Zech's is at 10am!) and groceries/errands today. Of course, maybe all the walking will do something? Hoping for nice weather at least so we can do a picnic lunch at a park. Not sure what tomorrow holds - kid's church is over now until September... and the kids don't sit terribly well through a sermon! Although, the ladies who plan kid's church have decided to have little kids' bags with activities for the kids - maybe we'll try it out. Or, maybe, we won't make it!
Hopefully the next post is to announce the new little one. Pray with us!

no news update - 06/02
Nothing to report yet, tomorrow is the due date for baby. I have another OB appt tomorrow morning. That's about it for that - it's just a waiting game, still.
We got through all the dance stuff last week - Monday and Tuesday rehearsals, Wednesday and Thursday recitals. The kids did great! I have pics and videos, just not on the computer yet. Josh took some pics on his camera too, which I'm sure will surpass my little camera shots! I'll get those online hopefully this afternoon, if my computer cooperates - no promises there, though!
We're into the wind-down stuff for school - June, apparently, is "field trip month". The kids love it! Yesterday Ruth and Zech went to Boissevain for an elementary grades "track and field" type day. They had a lot of fun.
Today Isaac has a field trip for nursery school to a play park.
And we got letters yesterday about the K-4s going to a water slide park in Saskatchewan (though only 1.5hrs away) on the 22nd - everyone is very excited about that one!
Before you know it, school will be out for the summer! Only another 4 weeks!

Happy Birthday Isaac!!!! - 05/19
Isaac is 4 years old today!
Unfortunately, he started the day by waking up with a belly ache. After falling back to sleep with us in our bed for half an hour he got up and drank some juice. At 8am, he vomited, and again at 9am.
So, he had to miss nursery school this morning, which he was quite upset about.
But he hasn't vomited at all since 9am (it's 2:30pm now), and about 10:30am he got up and started playing with Lego a bit. He says he's feeling better now and his tummy feels better.
Hopefully he's done and really feeling better now, and we'll be able to still do cake and presents tonight!
And, hopefully this was not a tummy bug but just from his cold (been coughing a lot the past couple days) and being very excited about his birthday (he's been looking forward to it for a month, and counting down the days for a couple weeks now!). If that's all it was from, then I don't have to worry about Ruth or Zech (or Josh or me!) catching it. Definitely not the right time to have to worry about us getting sick - with the baby coming anytime in the next few weeks, and all the dance windup stuff (rehearsals and recitals) next week. But only time will tell.

videos are up! - 05/10
Took a lot of confusion on my part, work on Josh's part, and stubborn-ness on my computer's part, but videos are up!
I'm working on labeling them all, and making sure there's no "back of the head" ones I need to just delete. I should be able to get that done today, I hope.

Happy Mother's Day - 05/09
Still haven't gotten the videos done and online. My camera, computer, and the site are not playing together nicely. I really need to get them on here and off my camera, though, because we have recital coming up at the end of the month and I don't want to just add more videos onto the 40+ all ready on there!
Things are good here. Finally saw the OB at the end of April, I see him again this Thursday. I'm not sure how it will work out if he wants me to come weekly now, which is likely I know, but it's not really feasible for Josh to take a day off every week. We'll see how things go.
The kids are busy - and a little stir crazy - because we had a week of rain and cold, one day (Thursday) of decent weather, then Friday snowed/rained all day and yesterday it continued. Today isn't as bad, though it's still fairly windy, at least the temp is up to 14.
I think it seems worse because only a few weeks ago we were in shorts and t-shirts, and now it's snowing again! They say it's supposed to warm up through the week, hopefully that's true!
And, lastly, a new picture of the belly/baby - I took these this morning before leaving for church! (36 weeks and 3 days along)

Happy Easter! - 04/05
Happy Easter everyone!!!
The Easter Bunny visited us yesterday morning - the boys got a few little cars, Ruthie got a "ken" doll, and they all got coloring books. Then they were off for the egg hunt - Easter Bunny was smart this year and only did 6 eggs each!
And, I'm in the works of getting the (long overdue) pictures online. I can't get the videos up yet... but Josh is going to work on getting that figured out tonight.
For now, there are new pics up from Dec 17 on until now (well, the end of Feb... we really should bring the camera out more often!).

Happy April Fool's Day - 04/01
I can't believe it's April all ready. The kids (and Josh) are on spring break this week - we went to Winnipeg on Tuesday and spent the afternoon/evening yesterday at the winter fair in Brandon. The kids always like going to see the animals. They had been saving up a bit of their money and were each able to buy something from the exhibit booths that they picked out.
Still working on the pictures and videos. Hopefully I can get time to do all of that today or tomorrow.
