spring break? - 04/06

Last week was our school spring break - so Josh and the kids had the week off - but I missed the break part. We were busy every day, in town, here and there.
Monday Levi had a well baby check and his needles (6 month ones, yes we're behind, yes we'll catch up). He's 19lbs 13oz and 28.25 inches. Growing well, and going constantly.
I took Zech in with Levi and me. He'd had a fever on Sunday, complained that his ear and neck (throat) hurt. His ear was red, but it turned out to be a virus causing it, not just an ear infection. He's fine now - though the same virus hit all of us through that week and this one.
Ruthie had 2 birthday parties to go to - Wednesday evening in town and Saturday at a friend's house.
On Thursday we went swimming at the sportsplex - we had free passes (for all of us!) and they expired that day. The kids had a lot of fun, Levi loved it! Isaac jumped off the low diving board, Zech and Ruth braved the big one!
On Friday we went to the winter fair in town. Walked around for a few hours looking at the exhibits and animals, then watched the evening show.
On Saturday we dropped Ruthie off and went in to town - we were supposed to get our taxes done, had an appointment at 5:30. We showed up exactly on time only to be told that they hadn't even started the 4:30 guy's stuff yet, and weren't nearly finished with the 3:30 appointment. They would call us when they could get to us. We waited as long as we could (7pm) but had to pick up Ruth at 7:30 near home. They called my cell at 7:10, obviously as we were driving home.
On Sunday we woke up to a wonderful... snowstorm. We sure hope it's the last one of the year. Please. No church... or anything else for that matter, for us that day. Josh and I took a few hours (!!) and got our taxes done ourselves online - saved $100... just hope we did them right.
Because of the storm and wind our driveway was full of 3-4 feet of snow. Josh had to take a sick day on Monday and we had the guys from town come dig us out with their tractor.
Things are fairly back to normal now. I think. I hope anyways.

Levi played with the box until there was nothing left!

Levi playing with his kitchen

then he noticed me with the camera

that's enough sitting still!
I know it's terribly blurry, but check out that grin!

just being cute

a new favorite for Levi - pushing around the laundry baskets

he also loves to take things out of the basket
- particularly when it's freshly folded -
but I haven't caught a picture of that yet

Where's Levi?
(he say like this for near 5 minutes, giggling)

There he is!

and another of his new favorites, maybe his most favorite.
unrolling the toilet paper!
He's always watching for us to leave the bathroom door open and he's in there like a flash!
